Roles and Permissions

What each user role can access in C2 Vault.

C2 Vault has five user roles, each with a different level of access. Assigning the right role ensures that staff members only see and do what they need to.

Role Overview

AdminFull access to all features, settings, user management, and billing
Supervising PharmacistCan manage most pharmacy operations and override actions
PharmacistCan create and view pharmacy records (receipts, dispenses, inventory)
TechnicianLimited access for basic day-to-day operations
AuditorRead-only access for compliance review and inspection purposes

Choosing the Right Role

  • Admin — For the pharmacy owner or manager who needs to control everything, including billing and user accounts.
  • Supervising Pharmacist — For the pharmacist-in-charge who needs to oversee operations but may not need billing access.
  • Pharmacist — For pharmacists who log transactions and manage inventory.
  • Technician — For pharmacy technicians who assist with day-to-day tasks but should not access sensitive settings.
  • Auditor — For compliance officers or external auditors who need to review records without making changes.

Changing a Role

Admins can change any user's role from the Users page. The change takes effect immediately.
