Creating Reminders

How to create and manage tasks for yourself or your pharmacy team.

Overview

Reminders help you and your team keep track of tasks, follow-ups, and deadlines. Use reminders for cycle counts, reorder follow-ups, patient autofills, expired return processing, or any other pharmacy activity that needs to be tracked.

Viewing Reminders

Reminders are organized into groups:

  • Overdue — Past the due date and not yet completed.
  • Due Today — Due today.
  • Upcoming — Due in the future.
  • Completed — Finished tasks.

Overdue and due today reminders appear on the Dashboard. When you log in and there are reminders due, a prompt will appear asking you to review them. The sidebar also shows a badge with the count of due reminders.

Creating a Reminder

  1. Navigate to Reminders from the sidebar.
  2. Click New Reminder.
  3. Fill in the details:

Title — A short description of the task (e.g., "Reorder Adderall XR, Follow up on RX #12345").

Description (optional) — Additional details.

Visibility — Choose who can see this reminder:

  • Personal (Only me) — Only you can see it
  • Pharmacy (All staff) — Everyone can see it

Priority — Low, Medium, High, or Urgent.

Remind On Date — When the task should be completed. Choose from quick presets (Today, Tomorrow, In 3 Days, In a Week, In a Month) or select a custom date.

Repeat — Set up recurring reminders. Options include:

  • Does not repeat
  • Daily
  • Weekly
  • Monthly
  • Custom (specify interval in days, weeks, or months)

If you select a repeating reminder, you can optionally set an Ends on date.

  1. Click Create Reminder.

Completing a Reminder

Click the Complete button on a reminder to mark it as done. You can optionally add a completion note describing what was done.

Completed reminders move to the Completed section and show who completed them and when.

Filtering

Use the filter options to show:

  • All / My Reminders / Pharmacy — View all reminders, only yours, or only pharmacy-wide reminders
  • Active / Completed — Show active or finished tasks
  • All Priorities / Urgent / High / Medium / Low — Filter by priority level

Dashboard Integration

Overdue and due today reminders appear on the Dashboard when you log in. If there are reminders due, a prompt will appear asking you to review them. The sidebar also shows a badge with the count of due reminders.

Creating Reminders from Alerts

You can convert any alert into a reminder directly from the Alerts page. The reminder will be pre-filled with the alert's details, such as low stock warnings or expiration notices.

Deleting a Reminder

To delete a reminder, click on it and select Delete from the options menu. Deleted reminders are permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
