How to manage your controlled substance inventory in C2 Vault.
The Inventory page is where you manage all of your controlled substance products. Each product represents a unique NDC (National Drug Code) and tracks its stock level automatically based on receipts, dispenses, and adjustments.
At a Glance
The top of the Inventory page shows summary cards:
- Total Items — Number of products in your inventory.
- In Stock — Products with stock above the minimum stock level.
- Reorder Needed — Products at or below the minimum stock level.
- Out of Stock — Products with zero stock.
How Stock Is Calculated
C2 Vault automatically calculates stock for each product:
Current Stock = Initial Stock + Receipts - Dispenses +/- Adjustments
You never need to manually update stock for day-to-day transactions. Simply log your receipts and dispenses, and the stock updates automatically.
